Jefferson Elementary School
Welcome, Jefferson Eagles!
Jefferson Elementary School is a small community supporting 500 students in preschool-grade 4. We provide a traditional instructional program focusing on the California core standards.
We offer 1:1 technology devices in grades 1-4 and 1:3 ratio in TK and K. IPADs are utilized in grades preschool-grade 1 and chromebooks in grades 2-4. Each teacher utilizes a laptop, projector and document
camera to enhance the instructional environment. We integrate a variety of online programs to support student learning including LEXIA, Zearn, Xtramath, Khan Academy, storyworks and Starfall.
We support the whole child by providing social/emotional learning lessons each morning (using Caring Schools Community curriculum), art, music and physical education. On site counseling is available to support
students 1:1 and friendship groups.
We have a supportive parent community including an active PTA and
volunteers.
We are beginning the year with a distance learning approach. Our daily instructional schedule is 8:00 am-12:00 pm. See the side “bell schedule” tab for more information.
Looking forward to collaborating with you this year!
