Principal's Welcome Message

Welcome to Cloverdale High School, home of the Eagles!

CHS offers a variety of programs not only so students can apply their learning but so that every student can find their passion and find a place to call their own.  We pride ourselves in being a small school where no student is anonymous while also providing a diverse program of studies to choose from.  We offer unique classes such as Farm to Table, Sustainable Practices , Introduction to Data Science, Construction (focused on tiny houses) and Media Arts. All of our honors and Advanced Placement classes are open to all allowing students to challenge themselves academically. We also have Career and Technical Education (CTE)  pathways in Building and Construction Trades; Business Administration and Finance; Arts, Media and Entertainment; and Hospitality and Tourism. All of our programs have been created to support students in their readiness for college and a career which is evidenced by the number of graduates who are accepted to postsecondary education and excel in their career after graduation.

Along with our academic program, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities. Our sports teams are always competitive; with our most recent championship in 2020 with the girls Basketball team who won the North Coast Section Division 5 Championship. We also have a cheer squad, dance, drama and our new MECHA club along with a variety of other activities. To further our philosophy of educating the whole student, which includes rich academic and extracurricular programs, our students also commit to community service yearly and the whole school participates in Community Unity Day in May.

To support all of our students' success, we have created a schedule that allows time four days a week for students to receive further support from teachers, to work deeper in projects or other areas directed by student need.

I invite you to be a part of the excitement that is Cloverdale High School whether through your participation in our parent organizations, attending one of our visual and performing arts productions, or any other number of community activities we participate in. No matter your level of participation, the most important aspect of that participation is supporting our students and helping them achieve their dreams so that they excel beyond even their own expectations.  Stop by CHS and see why our students and staff proudly proclaim that we are “We are Cloverdale!”

Go Eagles!
